**Warrior Women**

I am the child of the sun

the daughter of dark
I carry fire to burn the world
I am water to quench its throat
I am the product of slaves
I am the offspring of queens
I am still as silence
I flow as the stream

http://riversofhoney.com/apply/

Here’s what you can tell your friends/colleagues:

As a Rivers Featured Performer, this season, you will,

  • share your art and beautiful spirit with a community of outstanding women and a supportive audience,
  • have the opportunity to be a featured name within our advertising on our listserv, online social networking sites, riversofhoney.com, and professionally designed programs,
  • have the opportunity to sell your merchandise,
  • will have a complimentary on-site massage by an alluring woman of color massage therapist,
  • absorb wonderful things to consume, for your tastes, your ears, your senses and your spirit.

As Rivers Producers, this season, we will,

  • create a virtual flyer with your name which will advertise the weekend before and week of the show,
  • create a program with your pic and bio for your records and our archive,
  • create an altar for Oshun that you may anoint if you wish,
  • burn sage and incense, hold a circle at the beginning of each performance, where magic is conjured through all artist intentions,
  • bless the space along with building and respecting an altar honoring Oshun,
  • arrange a location in the space for artists to sell their merchandise during fellowship (post-show), as long as you are willing to administer this process,
  • provide our backstage with a complimentary massage, drinks and wonderful things to consume
Thank you for spreading the word.
Love,
