“Underwear” we see as a symbol of honoring the true self. “Party” we see as a celebration.
Performance will illicit the heart. The beat of the drum will awaken the women.
We will not be silent. We will be free and true.
Please join us for our final WOW Performance on August 1st, 2014. We will award our resident artists, Chauvet Bishop and Foxy Squire, and thank the many women who have come from all over the country to perform at Rivers of Honey over the past decade.
The entire audience will be in their underwear. As will performers, and WOW staff, with the caveat that the definition of underwear is up to you: swim wear, pajamas, costume. We will embrace however you are comfortable defining your true self. The ultimate goal is to feel free and like wolves, perform with your pack, loud and proud and sexy!

Jeannine Betu Kayembe Foxie Squire Chauvet Bishop Kita P Kita P is a singer/songwriter that portrays personal experiences through her music. Her sound can be classified as acoustic, soulful, & folk wrapped up into one package. Her sound is influenced by Curtis Mayfield, Badu, Krystle Warren, and many others. When asked to describe her sound she sums it up in two words, “Blind Vibe.”
She has been performing all over the NYC area the past five years and you can find her performing every Wednesday at Brooklyn’s own BushBaby’s Bar & Grill. Her debut self-titled EP is available on itunes, CD Baby, Bandcamp.com, & spotify.
